We are looking for a Pet Services Manager to join our growing team! This position is responsible for overseeing our kennel department, ensuring the safety and well-being of the animals, maintaining cleanliness, and managing a team of dedicated staff. This role requires strong leadership skills, knowledge of canine behavior, and a commitment to upholding company policies and procedures. The Pet Services Manager will report directly to the Campus Director and will have opportunities for career advancement within our rapidly growing company.

Responsibilities 
  • Leadership
    • Lead and manage a team of dedicated staff, providing guidance and support for the daily operations of our boarding services.
    • Train staff on company processes, procedures, and animal care protocols.
    • Manage staff performance, and provide coaching and feedback for professional growth.
    • Ensure seamless communication and coordination between departments
    • Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement strategies for upselling and improving customer experience.
  • Operations
    • Administer medications to dogs following established protocols.
    • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the facility.
    • Provide excellent animal care, including feeding, watering, and administering medications according to protocols
    • Assist Front Desk staff in transferring dogs during drop-off and pick-up times.
    • Monitor the health and behavior of animals, promptly addressing any concerns or issues.
    • Enter pet notes in the front desk software to facilitate seamless communication with pet parents and internal staff.
    • Enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Previous industry-related experience in a kennel, dog daycare, or similar environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
  • Ability to interact positively with animals, staff, and customers, while maintaining physical and mental stamina to move throughout the facility.
  • Comfortable performing any necessary tasks required of any employee.
  • Weekends and holidays are required.
